Cleaning ceramic coated pistons?

Hi guys, just wodering what cleaning agents I can use, to clean a set of 4AG-ZE pistons. I normally use a household oven cleaner to soften and remove the carbon, then wire wheel the pistons.
I will not use the oven cleaner, just in case it reacts with the ceramic coating.
I am also reluctant to use the wire wheel on the ceramic coating, just in case it removes the coating.
Any clues on what to use, would be greatly appreciated.
regards Chuck.

Hey Chuck
There was very little buildup on mine, but I used a rag & carby cleaner on the piston crowns, which had no effect on the ceramic coating. To be honest, I really didn't think much about protecting the coating from solvents etc, just figured that if it can cop the abuse of thermal loadings & combustion pressures in a GZE, then it must be pretty tough.
I have read articles on certain race fuels where they have warned of ill effects of their funny fuels on ceramic coated parts though, so there is some merit to your concern
