i am looking to buy a first car, and i am looking at an ae86, preferably in canberra or the surrounding area. While i'd prefer one with a 4ag engine, a 4ac would do fine also. if anyone knows of any plz post.
Cheers, James Morrow

Nah there are quite a few, I can think of 7 people straight off the top of my head that own and drive them in Canberra, ranging from neat supercharged and turbo charged ones to stockers.
None are looking at selling though I am afraid.
Check the Fyshwick car yards too as a friend picked one up out there that was in immaculate condition, completely stock, no rust, perfect paint and interior and low km's for $2500.
If you see a stocker in the street just pop a note under the wiper asking if they are interested in selling. Most of the people driving around in stock ones couldn't give a shit that it is in some cartoon and may be happy to get rid of it (especially when they realise the ridiculous prices people are willing to pay)..
Good luck with the search.
