There is probably already a thread on this...but I don't care, I'm starting a new one
Anyway I would have to say a red RX-8!
I wouldn't mind the racing RX-8 Mazda Australia had at the Sydney Motor Show!

BTW did anyone actually get to see the turbo RX-8 at the motor show? I think Mazda were referring to it as the GT RX-8

Draven's Porshe would be first (bring on the silicon carbide!).
But as a lead up to it the Tiger Z100WR. Fastest production car 0-100:
For the WR, twin 1200cc Kawasaki ZX12 engines were used, each producing approximately 190bhp. In November 2001, the Z100WR posted a 0 to 60 mph time of 2.8 seconds and a 0 to 100 mph time of 6.3 seconds using road legal tyres.
Its a pity you can't engineer a car with a bike engine (or two!) in it.

The bike engine clubbie can be done (theres two PRB's in sydney with hayabusa engines) although its too late to start one now, it would have to be finished before the end of this year to get through the emissions test. Your other option is to sourse a pre adr's chassis..

I've been a Koenigsegg lover for years, that thing has slowly progressed and gotten cooler and cooler. BUT, A supercar isn't the most practical thing for every day.
So I'd kill for an Aston Martin V8 Vantage, the new car coming out soon.
Failing that, a JZA80, in a nice colour, with no wing and either a 3UZFE or 1GZFE strapped between its front suspension would be awesome too

Think of it this way. The 1GZFE is an all-alloy 5l V12, along the lines of the 1UZFE's construction. The 1UZFE weighs about the same as a 1GGTE, around 175kg.
The 2JZGTE, while weighing less than a 7MGTE, has a very solid cast-iron block, and is still quite big. If the 1GZFE weighed much more than a 2JZGTE, even by a lot, it'd be surprising.

Grr... stupid typo. I know what a 2jz looks like, really...
How much less does a 2JZ weigh than a 7M? I've got vague plans to get my hands on one for my MA70, but this talk of 'less weight' is giving me visions of better weight distrobution too...
(aside - I can't believe the spell checker on this forum doesn't recognize 2JZ or MA70 )

It wouldn't be a huge difference over a 7M, couldn't tell you for sure. The reason the 2JZ is so strong is because it is fairly solid and well built
But we digress and are hijacking the thread If you have a search, you should find something more definite.

I'd be surprised if they can be registered, as they don't comply with emissions ADR's. Unless the owners are getting them fully emissions tested at about $20k a time.....
