Hi,
I fairly new here, ive had a membership for a while, but never really posted very much Laughing

anyway, i got a 1994 Toyota Camry CSi (4-cyl Auto)
i havent done a grand amount of stuff on it, just a few things to make me happy Very Happy

pics of it here by the way:

http://www.cardomain.com/id/terrynham

in the way of mods/accessories i have only done a few things like i said.
- Stock style Rear Spoiler
- Front 55w Foglights
- Sony CD Tuner
- Dual Chrome Exhaust Pipe Finisher

these arent exactly mods, but they are what i have added onto the car Wink
- Vienta 4-spoke steering wheel
- Vienta rear tail garnish (the red reflective one, instead of the black one)
- Chrome Badges from the new Camry Very Happy
- Digital Clock, Glovebox Light, Cupholder, etc Laughing

recently i completed a changing of the interior lights to White LEDs Very Happy. I changed the Gear Shifter Light, Gauge Lights, Ignition Illumination Ring, and A/C Controls all to White LEDs Very Happy
pics in the above link aswell.

Just wondering how many other Camrys are on this forum?

97+ V6 uses 1MZFE (except the new 3.3L 3MZFE Gen 5 Camry)

Specs are:
Engine code: 1MZFE
Description: 3.0L Six cylinder 60degree Vee Configuration. QuadCam, all alloy, cast iron cylinder liners and VVTI.
Torque: 299Nm @ 4400rpm
Power: 158kW @ 5800rpm
C.R.: 10.5:1
Capacity: 2995cc
Transverse orientation

Hope that helps!

well not exactly Razz
the 1MZFE which is in Australian Camrys doesnt have VVTi, nor do we have any 3MZFE Camrys in Aus yet Mad
only the Lexus ES300 has a 1MZFE with VVTi.

the non VVTi 1MZFE has the specs:
Power: 141kw @ 5200rpm (145kw on Sportivo models)
Torque: 279Nm @ 4400rpm (284Nm on Sportivo models)

Re: My 1994 Camry Thu, 04 November 2004 08:35 Go to previous messageGo to next message
Doesn't the 2004 V6 Camry have VVTI?? coz i'm sure i've seen it on the fender... Confused
And the 2005 model Camry will have the 3.3L 3MZFE..is that not avail yet??

Anyways..the figures i provided where from the Car's Guide 1997 Toyota Camry Review..they provided specs on the 1MZFE of that time, they must have got it confused with the 2004 model or something.

Very Happy

you are correct with the VVTi badges on the side of some of the new Camrys but those are for the 4-cylinder models only Wink
the V6 models have the "V6" badge there instead....

the 1MZFE VVTi is only on the US Model Camrys.....
they also have the 3MZFE on their sports model.
they also have a 5-speed auto....

unfortunately we in Australia, are stuck with the non-VVTi 1MZFE and 4-speed autos Razz, probably until they release the totally new model Camry which will be in 2006 i believe. Laughing

EDIT: my 94 Camry has been sold Sad, and ive got my 04 Camry Sportivo now Wink
