Here's my latest acquisition for the poopra: one pair of JZX81 struts converted to coilover with adjustable strut tops. One of the strut inserts are rooted, but for $450 who's complaining?

Installation will happen once I've got the brake upgrade finalised and have the $$$ for 17" tyres (ouch). Hopefully next month.

And what's stopping you from doing the same? My MX83 struts are for sale now, and Noltec coilover sleeves are apparently about $240... get cracking!

How do the strut tops fit Norbs ? (John @ Importbitz has some JZX81 strut tops come in every now and then...)
What is the length of the springs ?
What is the spring rate ?
I will be using 10" long 325 lb springs when I do mine, but it will have to wait until the engineering is done.
It will be interesting to see what camber you get with the MX83 struts and the camber tops compared to the RA65 struts.
Cheers

Yeah I bought these from John. I haven't done a test fit yet (it was bucketing down on the weekend) but I'll do that soon. I already did a test-fit with a similar setup some months ago and that worked ok so I don't foresee any problems.
Those springs are too short and I would guess way too stiff (haven't measured them yet) so they will be replaced. Ideally I'd like springs with similar spring rate and uncompressed height as my existing springs.
I'll post here as soon as they're in, but it will be a while before I can actually drive on them.
