well for starters a 2T-G fuel injected is a 2T-GEU.. just without the electronic ignition and what not..
depends what kind of power your talking about here, if your going to go all out (differnt injector setup, turbo etc etc) then an aftermarket computer might be an idea, but if your not gonna do much to the engine (exhaust, pod filter, plug leads etc) then i see no point putting the aftermarket computer in.. but there are many answers to your question, id think about what your gonna be using the motor for?
Daily driver?
Track car?
Street Performance?
and since your looking for your first car am i right? id look at a 2T-GEU or even just a 2T-G.. great for a first car, the 2T-G not so good on fuel but im sure the 2T-GEU is abit more efficient..
hope that helps, any other questions PM me
cheers.

Your average KW from stock 2TGEU that I've seen, running standard computer would be about the 50-60 KW range, although depending on how much $$$ you invest you can get a heap more. Last CCG dyno day a worked 2T ran:

So I'd expect you could get even more than that from a Twin cam.
(personal speculation only)

70rwkw from a 2T!!!?
mine made 78 which is a 2tg hybrid, 1812cc, 10:1 comp, twin dellorto 40mm carbs and 288 degree cams, that must have been one hot little 2T!

Unfortunately I could only guess. I haven't had mine dyno'd yet but I'd expect maybe 55KW at the wheels??
