Where/how have people mounted gauges in their ae86's. I've got a 60mm boostgauge here and Im looking for ideas. I know about the aircon vents, but im looking for other options at the moment. Pics would be really helpful too! Show us your gauge setups!

Yep, they be VDO's ($40-$60 each!). When you go to the VDO dealer, just ask him for some pods with brackets to suit. It's all VDO stuff. They are just 2 screws each through the bracket and they're mounted!
I considered mounting them higher i.e. somewhere on the dash, but it would ruin my aim of having the car look really neat (well, eventually it will!).

looks like a cockpit to me...mini boeing 747?
i should buy like about 10 gauges but instead of water temp, etc..i'll get a clock
i'll line them around my driver's side...which looks like super ricer...and have them adjusted to London, US, Middle East, Australia and all around the world's time...
looks fully sik frm far..
hahaha
just joking
