I've had a lot of different opinions but no1 seems to know for sure... what petrol is a 4kc MEANT to drink??

meant to?
something with maybe 95-100 octane..
it is fine to run on unleaded as the valve seats are hardened.
i've been running my K motors hard on premium for a long time.
K motors from the 60;s are fine to run on unleaded... but if octane is too low it will ping

K's run fine on unleaded. my 5K ke70 ran much better on it than good ol' Lurp. Though i did run a Lurp tank once in a while just to try and keep the seats lubricated
