Did you RTFM??

The manuals with (most) head units are very easy to understand and quite thorough.. Considering the age of the car as well, it would be a very simple installation.

About the only problem would be how to get to the brackets, which is usually just a case of ripping the facia bits off in the right order, in which case I can't help you out at all.. Confused

Also, try and get a wiring harness adapter, these little beauties plug into your existing wiring harness (the plug that would've been left behind sitting where your stereo used to be) and the new one.

from what i know about arseholes who steal stereos, they cut the wires and take the plug with them, easier to sell a complete unit i guess. but there should only be about 6 wires you have to deal with, its not really that hard. just sit down with the manual for your new stereo and the one for the stock one, and the stock manual should tell you exactly which wire is what.

www.installdr.com

Good place to start.

Also, there's lots of helpful people on the forums at www.caraudioaustralia.com if you have questions - I'd do a search there because there's likely been others who've asked a similar question.

Good luck with it.
