Weight Reduction

Over the last few weeks when I had time I stripped my Sprinter down and decided to do some weight reduction. I took out the sound deadening,carpet,heater box, air-con,back seat and pretty much everything but the dash pad,door trims and front seats.
I went to a weight bridge today and with about 2/3 tank of fuel and the car weighed in at 950kg
I have a 4agze,upgrade front brakes, modified tailshaft,disc brake rear end, 15inch simmons, 3 core radiator and other engine mods and thats about it.
I was hoping for less total weight then that .... can anyone tell me if sounds right or is the car to heavy for what has been taken out?

Ive done similair mods and weight reduction and with a 4age was around 900kg...
The 4a-gze is meant to weigh around 50kg extra sound your car seems to be about right.
Other things you can do are:
* Light weight wheels/rims
* Optima 6kg Dry cell battery (move to rear of car)
* Replace glass windows with lexan (illegal/unroadworthy light none the less)
* Fiberglass/Carbon Fiber/Kevlar panels (hatch, guards, bonnet)
* Fixed back light weight racing seats
* What juzzo84 said!
