"real" race sims bore the crap out of me. Formula 1, rally, V8 supercars, gt racing. The whole concept of going round and round and round, mastering control systems e.t.c. without the actual thrill of driving a car to me seems pointless. I much prefer games like burnout 3, need for speed underground etc, where you just get a few mates with a few beers and drive stupidly fast cars at unrealistic angles for laughs

i prefer games like GTA:sa which remove you from reality and take you into a surreal world where you can do the most amusing things, laugh with your mates about it, and play for days on end.
I swear i;ve got about 60+ hours solid playing so far from GTA san andreas and im about 25% or less thru the game. Its hardcore.
hardcore racing sims shit me, sorry. Surrealism makes it fun

but what about black and white.. where you could pick up vilagers and peg them at houses, rocks.. over the horizon, into more people or whatever

Ill believe it when i see it.
Your game will be out in maybe 1yr, if we see it at all (since most game releases do fail)?
But GTR isnt just about the awesome graphics, the physics realism is better than anything else currently avaliable.
The sounds are also incredible, planting your foot in the viper really does bring a smile to the face.
Sure, its not for everyone... i get easily bored with games like NFS (except for porsche).
I perfer to have a real 15 lap battle with other drivers on the net, there is nothing else like it.

BUT your missing teh point, it doesn't have awesome graphics so it MUST be a shit game! Im working on a MSPAINT stick figure at the moment, its amazing!
Got a ed2k/torrent link for it? Reminds me of Sports Car GT, I used to play that game over and over again, it was awesome in its time! I think it still is!
