let the games begin?

dude, finding a trueno is hard enough (there are only a handful here in Sydney owned by the most dedicated enthusiests) finding one WITHOUT rust is just as hard a task, finding one with a 4AGE comes up once in a while then you have to be quick...

So finding one that is:

trueno + rust free + 4AGE = good luck Rolling Eyes

maybe an aussie delivered levin with 4age and smallish amount of rust is your best bet.

don't bother with a trueno unless you have the adequate cash and know enough about it.

ps. there is one selling in Melb 'evilshyt' that may interest you, but be prepared to fork out the right cash

well, aren't you glad he didn't mention: "I've got $5000 to spend" and when he gets flamed all over, he'll say: "but geez, it's only a 20 years old car, it aren't worth that much"... Laughing Laughing Laughing

Well, actually I was keen on getting EVILSHYTE's car...but he's no longer selling as he's not travelling overseas anymore. Such a shame, that was a nice car at a reasonable price as well Confused

86tt - PM sent.

SEXY 16 - I just saw a random image on the net and assumed it was mine and offered it for sale!? Surprised The car is mine! It was probably advertised by a dodgy dealer in the UK while the car was still in Japan... Would have to be a twin if you can find it in the UK - Landed and for sale?? Not this car!

MI5 - Contact me if you are interested. Guess you will see the car before buying Rolling Eyes The car is there... are you a serious buyer....?

Anyways, MI5, SEXY 16 usually has at least 2 Initial D replica Trueno's for sale at any given time. Most are modified beyond your wildest dreams and can attack the Akina Downhill like nobody's business.

If you look hard enough, panda Trueno's with worked 20V's are all over the place like a mad woman's shit.

What did i do wrong? I'm just looking for a certain kind of car...just like everyone else is doing in these forums. I've found a few prospects thus far. I've seen the sprinters for sale here and i thought it would do no harm in asking.

nah seriously M15, i suggest you do a search (top right hand corner) and type 'WTB AE86 panda trueno' read through ALL of the search results and come back to this thread.

You seem like a decent bloke who is after an ae86, but please, you gotta do the hard yards before 'wanting' one.

Any time.
answer me this: Why do you need a sprinter and why a trueno?
Correct me if I'm wrong but your answers would truthfully be based along the lines of: Because I want to drift/ they are the best drift car/ Takumi has one..
Use the search function as has been suggested and then maybe you'll understand why people are sick of posts like this.

I agree slaver..that is one textbook quote! If toymods recieved $1 for all the WTB: Sprinter threads, they could make some decent cashish.

Anyway on a brighter note for those initial Dreamers...here is a *trueno for sale*: http://home.iprimus.com.au/jverban/ae85.htm

Well, since everyone cares so much about why I want to buy this car. Heres a long story short, I have around $13K to spend on a car. Instead of importing an 89 RX-7, getting an 88 Supra, or a 92 Celica...I've decided to look for this car instead. Rolling Eyes

I'm not really concerned with how many WTB Sprinters are out there at the moment or how you judge me in accordance to my motives of buying this car. If you don't like it, well, too bad really. I have the money and I have every right to post any WTB as every other guy out there looking for a sprinter. Twisted Evil

Another thing that might piss the veterans of this forum. If there was no demand due to the cult following of the following car, the price wouldn't be what it is now. There are many such as myself who only found out about this car through the aforementioned anime. I've decided to take this further by actually purchasing the car I've heard so much about. Very Happy

Since I'm based in Perth, there are only two or three Trueno's for sale. These cars are imported by a local importing agent and sold for $11 to $15K. Thus leads me here, to find out more about the market price and the amount of these cars that are available (not only in Perth but throughout Australia).

So the purpose of my forum still stands, I am looking for a Toyota Trueno Sprinter with minimal rust. Razz

i think you guys are all dickheads for picking on this dude for wanting a panda trueno.

if it wasnt for initial d ae86's would not be as popular as they are today.

do you think you have exclusive rights to owning one because you knew about them before initial d came out?

fark...most of you probly didnt know about them before initial d anyway, i know i didnt, and im willing to say that.

it seems this guy has the money to back himself up, he has offered sated a generous amount of money for his car. but james' car is hardcore so not quite generous enough Razz

anyway... just fuck off unless you have anything to say to help this guy out.

by the way M15: c-red bought back that panda trueno that did the rounds around australia, they are gonna fix it up and register it then put it up for sale again, i dont know how long it might take them but it might be worth a look as long as they dont ask for too much Razz

importing one might be the way to go mate...good luck Smile

Damn people. Why is it that every AE86 related thread ends up with people going spastica bout who's a real enthusiast and who isn't?

This is the parts wanted section of the forum not a discussion section. If you feel the need to reply to this thread then make sure the reply is about a car for the original poster, not a comment about his motivation or other random info.

Come on people you complain when people go on about "dorifto sprinter people" but this is how you behave with basically no input from anyone else.

Actually this thread is being locked, if you want more help with finding a car MI5 then you can start a new thread.
