let the games begin?
dude, finding a trueno is hard enough (there are only a handful here in Sydney owned by the most dedicated enthusiests) finding one WITHOUT rust is just as hard a task, finding one with a 4AGE comes up once in a while then you have to be quick...
So finding one that is:
trueno + rust free + 4AGE = good luck
maybe an aussie delivered levin with 4age and smallish amount of rust is your best bet.
don't bother with a trueno unless you have the adequate cash and know enough about it.
ps. there is one selling in Melb 'evilshyt' that may interest you, but be prepared to fork out the right cash

86tt - PM sent.
SEXY 16 - I just saw a random image on the net and assumed it was mine and offered it for sale!? The car is mine! It was probably advertised by a dodgy dealer in the UK while the car was still in Japan... Would have to be a twin if you can find it in the UK - Landed and for sale?? Not this car!
MI5 - Contact me if you are interested. Guess you will see the car before buying The car is there... are you a serious buyer....?

ull probably need like 15k.. as most truenos u wanted goes for almost 6k and rising pending on the condition.. and score yourself a desperate japanese housewife while holidaying there... who knows...

Well, since everyone cares so much about why I want to buy this car. Heres a long story short, I have around $13K to spend on a car. Instead of importing an 89 RX-7, getting an 88 Supra, or a 92 Celica...I've decided to look for this car instead.
I'm not really concerned with how many WTB Sprinters are out there at the moment or how you judge me in accordance to my motives of buying this car. If you don't like it, well, too bad really. I have the money and I have every right to post any WTB as every other guy out there looking for a sprinter.
Another thing that might piss the veterans of this forum. If there was no demand due to the cult following of the following car, the price wouldn't be what it is now. There are many such as myself who only found out about this car through the aforementioned anime. I've decided to take this further by actually purchasing the car I've heard so much about.
Since I'm based in Perth, there are only two or three Trueno's for sale. These cars are imported by a local importing agent and sold for $11 to $15K. Thus leads me here, to find out more about the market price and the amount of these cars that are available (not only in Perth but throughout Australia).
So the purpose of my forum still stands, I am looking for a Toyota Trueno Sprinter with minimal rust.

i think you guys are all dickheads for picking on this dude for wanting a panda trueno.
if it wasnt for initial d ae86's would not be as popular as they are today.
do you think you have exclusive rights to owning one because you knew about them before initial d came out?
fark...most of you probly didnt know about them before initial d anyway, i know i didnt, and im willing to say that.
it seems this guy has the money to back himself up, he has offered sated a generous amount of money for his car. but james' car is hardcore so not quite generous enough
anyway... just fuck off unless you have anything to say to help this guy out.
by the way M15: c-red bought back that panda trueno that did the rounds around australia, they are gonna fix it up and register it then put it up for sale again, i dont know how long it might take them but it might be worth a look as long as they dont ask for too much
importing one might be the way to go mate...good luck

Damn people. Why is it that every AE86 related thread ends up with people going spastica bout who's a real enthusiast and who isn't?
This is the parts wanted section of the forum not a discussion section. If you feel the need to reply to this thread then make sure the reply is about a car for the original poster, not a comment about his motivation or other random info.
Come on people you complain when people go on about "dorifto sprinter people" but this is how you behave with basically no input from anyone else.
Actually this thread is being locked, if you want more help with finding a car MI5 then you can start a new thread.
