ive got a hot little 2tg hybrid but 4age still gets my vote
the 2tg had its advantage for me, i wanted to keep the same block for legal reasons and the extra 200cc's come in handy round the street
if the 2tg is carbi, i wouldnt even think twice about it

dude, for drift, neither motor really has my vote.

The KE50 isnt really a "drift" car.... leaf sprung rear and wagon shape dont work to your advantage!

That said, when i had the KE50, a 2T-GEU would have been my choice - seeing as that's what was put in the Trueno Levin TE51. Less engine mount fabrication etc etc.

3T-GTEU is better really.

Not this one.

It's the 2.2 litre 900hp Pikes Peak engine. I took that photo of one in Los Angeles. It was offered to me for sale, but I didn't want to pay all that money - US$10,000. Smile

I'll 2nd that, many V series commos have been slayed by the 1JZGTE. On paper the V8 does have more power but put it into real world and it all just goes blurry...

if u spent as much money on a gen 3 as the builder did that one. i think oyud be suprised.

and also the gen 3's come in the heavyer commodores.....put it in a.......rx2 for example...(ts been done) and uve got a freaking fast car. which has a heap of torque.

or...better idea! what about the new gen 4! the 6.0L ls2, which rates at 297kw straight from the box and makes as much as 474Nm of torque at a piddling 2000rpm.

or what about a HSV spec ls2 which when the VE comes out (mid next year) will be fitted with PWR supercharger kits from the factory. and quote the cheif engineer bob moreley from PWR "this kit will give you enough power to spin the wheels in every gear".of course its an exaduration, but you get the idea.
