i have that vid somewhere in amongst my 50gb+ of car vids, havent seen it in a while.
but yeh, it sucks.. doesnt he understeer off to the left?

It seems like he tried to link 2 corners that were too far apart for the line he was taking, and ran up onto the inside ripple strip and bounced off into understeer > slid onto grass and into a ditch. Pretty hard hit.
Tanaguchi was watching too. I think it was one of his D1 cars.
