Its fuel only. Only controls the injectors pretty much. The timing is mechanical. The knock box & ignitor (assuming using factory gear) can retard the timing but thats about it.

Cheers

thanks joel

another thing, that would mean i should have no issues engineering the Haltech F9 on the car as there are no emissions control required?

i know i need to speak to an engineer but i want to get all the info i can before going there so that i can at least have some idea what to say to them, what info i can tell and stuff like that... i want the car all legit and want to know as much as i can so i dont look like an idiot in front of them or get taken for a ride where they may end up making me pay thousands more for nothing

EDIT: oh yeah joel i ended up getting the ARP rod bolts i asked you about Very Happy . you were right it was almost near impossible to find Shocked

Thats an interesting question regards the Haltec ignition ECU.

At a guess, I can't see any problem with engineering as like you say it doesn't alter emmissions. But who knows, I can't believe a different air filter could alter emmissions either but they say it does.

Cheers
Joel
