Thanks John. I'll hopefully have a ae101 gze in and running in a months time. by then ill have the front coilies and jap spec brakes in and all i'll need is a disc to disc or t18 rear end and a 2way lsd.
I cant remember using a blue ae86 as avatar, except for the current one which hasnt been approved yet so you wouldnt have seen it. If you saved my avatar pic, send it here or post it up and i can probably track it down for you in my ae86 folder. Was it a levin or trueno
Anyway heres the current one:

Your avater showed up on my email so I erased it and when I had a look at your post in toymods it wasnt there any more. Thats why I asked for it.
Anyway its back up now!
Thats the one I was asking about.
Freeky how I saw it before it got approved.
Keep us posted with the mods, I bet you wont want to get out of the car when you get the coil overs.
I should have some pics of mine soon.

looking good mate, those wheels u got tho, the volks, they seem like a mighty bad offset for the ae86. You going to be running spacers?

nice ride very tidy. those recaros are damn comfy, pretty tight aswell, mate has a set that he's putting in his car.
that ride height looks just right aswell, not too low but still nothing thats going to attract too much attention to the car, you want the engine to do that

looking at the pic they dont seem like +25 offset rims... they seem to fit not too bad, more like +17 offset. Ideally u want as closeto zero offset as possible, i would fit a 10-20mm BOLT on spacer for best results.

Yeah, Mine are Speedstars. They make SSR too if im not mistaken. They look like SSR Formula Mesh the most except they dont have little spokes near the middle.

haha nice work sean
for the sound deadener i used a heat gun and a scraper. its the best technique in my opinion. then i used kerosene to clean up the residue
