i think you'd have to increase your budget for a trueno. For your budget you'd probably get the shell

What are you expecting to find here? Are you going to buy a trueno and ship it to the US from Australia? Probably should have specified US dollars when posting on an Australian site also. If you were expecting to find a trueno in the united states on this forum I think you expecting a little bit much. There's probably only 3-4 US members on Toymods.

I live in australia...Sorry that I didn't know whether SR5's are fixed light
Find yourself a GTS then... it would cost you minimum $10000 AU to get a JDM Trueno to where you live, without even getting into Zenki and Kouki debate

SR-5 Had nothing to do with levin fronts... you and your brother must be smoking some wack dope... i find it funny we have more of an understanding of USDM cars than US drivers. SR-5's where a toned down version of the GTS with a crappy engine drum brakes and cheap interior, it shared the exact same body as the GT-S
If you don't believe me i suggest that you check:
www.club4ag.com
www.hachilife.com
www.hachiroku.net
all american forums which will tell you the levin was NEVER EVER EVER REALEASED IN THE USA!!!! NO MATTER WHAT!!!! END OF DISCUSSION!

Hate to say it. But u got owned tak boy. IMHO hes a lil keyboard warrior in his own world wanting to make a dorifto career out of his time behind his computer. Also to the point his Need for speed underground drift skills should be more than enough skills to bring it all the way in the limelight.
I love the listing of bits u have in your trueno.

I'm not quite sure. But i am leaning towards u ripping all the bits n pieces and information off some other guys ride in "New hampshire"

What got me curious was, we never got trueno's... so why ask?
Never really hurts to do some homework. I mean we all know ur USDM AE86 corolla GT-S's all came with the lights but an f'ed up front bar and rear... plus there's an indicator on the rear... that i can never understand
So, unless u want a equivelent SR-5 Levin i suggest you poke at the place of origin. (Nihon)
Whatever you're doing to ur SR-5, GT-S, Trueno... goodluck
Also for the sake of argument i also suggest you read previous threads on this forum with other australia people all who has a status of 'newcomer' asking for 3000(AUD) AE86 Truenos and the people who are regulars are sick of that crap. It might help in seeing a newbie who is another assumed aus resident wanting a trueno because he just finished watching stage 1 of Initial D anime (its a good anime) but it pisses me off too.

I picked up on the American bit straight away for one reason. "eviltak". Only in the crap, bodged up and "ebonicised" American dub was he called Tak. At all other times it was "Takumi" or "Fujiwara".
Besides, the music in the US dub was crap and the driver of the Hachi was a sissy, it barely revved at all...
