Alternative to buying orig. rubber seals ... to fix leaks
Sat, 11 December 2004 07:50
Bunnings sell this DIGGERS "Biyseal" which is an 'impregnated polyurethane filler' (huh ??)
basically its this shit u use to prevent leaks, draughts in the house ...
but i used it as replacement for the seal on the tail light i.e. the grey shit that sits between the body and the light unit..
mine needed replacing as it was old and water soaked through it so i just cut some of this and sat it between the body and light .. works great
depends on how much u need, $8.60 will last you a pretty long time ..
much more convenient than getting the actual gasket/seal from toyota (and probably cheaper!)
