3 budgies (NOT FOR SALE!!) Looking for a good home... Mon, 13 December 2004 05:06 Go to next message
These are not tamed, doesn't talk, but they're good noise makers... Very Happy

1 male and 2 female 1 year old budgies...

I've been too busy and haven't had time to look after them as much as I should, so they are not tamed, they are offsprings of my other 2 budgies, the mother budgie have been lost due to a careless mistake by my mum, and it flew away... Crying or Very Sad I hope she's safe in someone's home now... Confused

They are from the same family, so don't try to breed them together... Shocked

They're looking for a good home as I already have 3 other budgies... Shocked And I feel I owe something to these offsprings so they must have a good home...

So if you know anyone that will be interested, please let me know... thanks...

it's true, not only for ethical reasons (coz the birds don't know such thing anyway! Very Happy)

But breeding so close within the family tree will cause the offsprings to have all sorts of problems like short lives, small body, weak immune system, and many other problems...

And could end up like this too... Laughing

rthy: yeah, that'll be my last resort, last time when I moved house, I had to take a beautiful white 1yo (albino) cockatiel to the Pets Paradise in Hurstville, they boss didn't pay me anything too... Shocked
And we really regret it because you just don't know if they've went to a good home or not, maybe ended up in some kids home being tramped on, or locked in some small cage stressed to death or something... Shocked
