86 panel Q... Mon, 13 December 2004 20:53 Go to next message
Hey guys I hope you can help me! I'm about to start rebuilding my 86 and its gonna need some panels. The problem is, that European kouki right rear panels are out of stock. Therefor I was offered a panel from the Australian/Middle East etc. version.

My q is this: Does your face lifted 86 have a plastic thingy attached to the panels like mine does (only in the front - rear has been fixed using the panel from an EP7):

I really hope you can give me an answer - I don't want to have two different looking panels!

Aussie ae86's do not have that plastic part, although i do believe i have seen them in person before.

It is the front quarter panel you are talking about right?

The panels are the same. That is just a plastic trim that you can buy brand new.

I'm talking about buying rear panels, but my 86 only got the plastic trim on the front panels... I hope that makes everything clear Smile

This is still kinda confusing.... Can you post up a pic of what you have/want even better, highlight or circle the exact bit that you are asking about.
