the starter motor turns the thing over but wont start? sparkplugs? distributorcap?
and the engine was shaking when on 2-3000rpms?

Is it spinning over suspiciously easily on the starter?
You might have snapped a timing belt. That's what happened to mine.
and as CLG said. More info would be good.
