dont bother wasting you're money on a piss-poor 4ac, not even worth the paper the mods list would be written on!!

a cam, twin carbs ( big ), a sorta exhaust, get the head cleaned up and you would beat a 4ages with out too much trouble...it would just cost more, run rougher, use more fuel, and not rev as much...but yeh....

Considering I paid a whole $400 for a 4AG with ECU etc. to put in my KE70, I very much doubt that apart from nitrous, you could do much with the 4AC to get it to beat the 4AG for the same price!

i did say it would cost more...
your missus would prefer a 20v or a 16v over a hand grenade (as in about to blow up) 4ac, they will be nicer to run, smoother, use less fuel etc...4acs are kinda cool in an economical cant die way but otherwise they suck

i dont think there are any real mods, only rice items on the carb, like the bigger airfilter and muffler...
save up for a 4age

Oh, there ARE 'real' mods, after all, people DO spend money on crap engines still. 'Worked' 202, anyone?

Step 1: sell engine 2 P&O cruises
step 2: they use engine for boat anchor
step 3: buy new 4age 100kw
step 4: put MONSTER turbo on
step 5: dont buy ur missus anything anymore and tell her ur "saving money"

i wouldnt bother on working a 4AC, although they're unbreakable most of the time, they dont have the performance you'd be looking for. Save up enough for at least a 4AGE and go from there by getting bigger cams, and lifting them 10 or so degrees.
Then the basics like pod, extractors etc etc
