Hey Guys,

Just thought i'd show you a pic of the car my best mate just picked up through Prestige.. we jumped on it as soon as it came available through a supplier in Japan.

On-road landed price after compliance and rego should be around the high $13k mark.

Let us know what you think Smile

A couple of words of warning:

# Make sure your mate gets his Vehicle Import Approval BEFORE the car lands in Australia. Most people wait until they have the application before they even ship the car, which is a good idea. If the car lands in Aus without you VIA - bye bye car!

# If the car is currently in Kobe, expect to be waiting at least 4 months before it gets on a boat, despite whatever line Geoff pulls to him.

# When you get the car landed in Brissy - get all the modifications done to it before you register it, so that they are all engineered!! I mean everything from the required mods to comply with ADRs to any performance mod.

On a friendly note - WELL DONE to your mate. Nice little car. Obviously he MUST MUST MUST MUST go to Brisbane All Toyota Day!

Would that car have had airbags from factory?
And if so, would the drivers one have to reinstalled for it to be complianced?

Very nice either way.
