oops... Fri, 17 December 2004 04:54 Go to next message
Okay the other night I was out driving my black 86 carefully, a cat ran out on the wet road and I braked and yawed, car got sideways and I knocked a curb with my front right wheel. Now the wheel looks like its been pushed back in the wheelarch about an inch or so. Does anyone know what I could of bent?

thanks
Gavin

take the car to a panel shop and they will be able to pull it forward for you and that will fix it no worries

have you looked under the car to see if anything is visually bent?

i did something very similar to this just recently too. just my control arm was bent by the looks of it. check the strut bar as well for

any damage. if you got the proper tools like a torque wrench and ball socket removers and stuff like that, you can do the job

fairly easily by yourself. and when you say pushed back, do you mean it was pushed in widthways towards the axles or

lengthways as in along the arch?
