Hey guys,
How much can the 1j injectors hold?
I remember, a friend who has a JZA80 TT, said his stock injectors, should handle 280rwkw, and he was right on the money, anything above this figure, they would max out!
Cheers.

Ok... first of all the 1JZ GTE comes with two different type of injectors...
The first are the Yellow top side feed injectors found on the Twin Turbo variants...
The second are Denso Grey top Top feed injectors as found on the VVTi Single turbo version of the engine..
Both type of injectors have the same flow rate of about 370-380cc
As for there power handling if you read the lates zoom mag No 84 (The one with the Yellow VL on the cover) There is a blue 1JZ powered Hilux with stock injectors which puts out 242KW at the wheels

seconded. Although that would be very close to maxing them out. I assume this Hilux is a manual car.

Supposed to be with a stock manual ECU, manual trans but custom intake/exhaust manifold, hence the claimed low boost (.89)

My stock injectors were at 92% duty cycle at 245rwkw with stock ECU/fuel pressure - wouldn't want to run any more than that as detonation won't be too far away.

Yeah the rule of thumb is that you usually dont want to run your injetors at anything more than 80 - 85 percent duty cycle otherwise yuour injectors can fail..
