Update $4k
** = new
White ae82 pic in avatar
100kw 4age done approx 40,000k's
car has done 178,000 k's
its a 1986 CS-X model, its got the ae82 twin cam taco in the dash
got a recaro front drivers seat on custom made rails. You get the original drivers seat as well
**Top gun ignition leads, you get 3 new spare ones as well (7 in total) one of the new ones broke and top gun gave me a brand new set as a replacement but they took back the broken one, hence the 3 spares.
autotechnica steering wheel
2" exhaust and stainless cannon muffler, incl 2 resonators
lightened flywheel
front ae82 sway bar fitted with noalthane bushes
ae82 twin cam strut brace
brand new left hand drive shaft was put in when engine went in approx 6-8 months ago. driver side one is o.k for now but i have a spare recond'd one ready to go in.
lowered 2" at rear and aprox 1.5" at front although this was done approx 12 months ago and so there is some sag, its probably just on the legal limit. springs are heavy duty items made by industrial springs on port road.
pod filter
central locking via alarm for keyless entry
alarm has two ultra sonic sensors for detecting movement inside the car.
tinted rear windows and rear windscreen, front windows were tinted but i got defected 12 months ago and had to pull it off, never got round to putting tint back
painted interior plastics white to match car colour
has got ae92 GTZ levin front brakes, these are bigger 258mm dia rotors, with ferodo zeros pads in them at the mo, have also got some japanese competition pads with about 85% of pad left, these work well after about 3 stops from over 100km/h
have got rear disc brake setup from ae82 twin cam, not fitted as i havent had a spare weekend to do it, also have master cylinder from ae92 SX, this is to go in when the rear discs go in to fix up the brake bias.
has got 14"x6" mags, they are linea sport things, italian made apparantly, they are pretty light weight. will also sell car with ae82 factory alloys 5x incl one with tyre (is the spare)
**3" stainless steel intake pipe/sillicon hose connector to throttle body with custom aluminium cool air box with hose pick up from under front bar.
has rego until april 05
Tyres are pirelli P 6000, rear two are needing replacement soon, front two are probaly ok for 5-6 months, depending on your driving style.
pretty tidy little car, goes well takes out most v6 commodores
*** Compression test done today 195psi in all 4 cylinders. compression test done with throttle closed coz im a clown, so it would be a better result with it open, ill do it again when i get a chance.
edit: always serviced at 5k intervals, have had timing belt replaced only 8,000k's ago along with a new water pump which was fitted at the same time. Clutch is also 8-9,000k's old and has not been abused so shuld have 95% or more wear left in it, its a standard duty exedy item.
cheers

S.T.A.R.S lol i know i know but i need a more powerful, stock looking car preferably one that i can hang the arse end out on
Frank -> A/C yes and no, no its not connected, but yes i have all the bits you need to have it put in. the 4AC motor that was in the car originally had aircon, so all the bits are there including the electrics which i beleive have been hooked up the ECU allowing you to just plug in the compressor and it should be hooked up. Alex at InjectMaz did the wiring on the car. If its not wired up then it is only a small job to plug the right wire into the ecu, i also have a big bag of wiring loom, lots of 4age bits and 4ac bits as well.
Note:- Stainless steel air intake with heat sheild going in on the weekend, come on guys you know you want to buy it

if 3 is the best offer i can get then i'll keep it as a backup/track car.
i got defected once in it when i was still on P's but i was being a dickhead, so it was to be expected.
i dunno how hard it would be to get off defect i guess you'd just have to put everything back to stock, but thats the chance you take with any modified car isnt it??
basically dont do anything to attract cop attention and they wont bother you, cops are like bees

ummm well i kinda slowed down to about 25k/hr when going past a cop laser gunning people in a 60 zone and some how my hand flew out the window and gave the cop the finger. The cop was not too happy about this and proceeded to follow me pull me over and defect me for
1) windscreen wipers were painted white, aparantly they have to be painted MATT BLACK - bollocks if you ask me
2) exhaust sounds too loud, even tho it was never measure not did i even rev it for him, he just took a look at it and said thats gonna be too loud sunshine.
3) Steering wheel was not "standard"
4) metallic foot pedals were not "standard"
and finally it was lowered, no matter how much i told him that it was lowered 25mm which is the legal amount, nope he just looked, again no measurements, and said nope its lower than that.
so anyway i had to go to regency park to get the car cleared, this involved a total car inspection everything was checked and made sure it was roadworthy before they would clear it.
anyways that was about 2 years ago, and i havent had any problems with cops since, that could be coz my attitude changed slightly towards them and also the P plates came down. Hence no big red target n e more.

Hey
Very interested in this car. Is it registered with current engine? (engine numbers matching on rego sticker) When you went through regency was that after the conversion?
cheers

nah got defected well before the conversion, i havent been able to find the engine number and so i havent filled out the change of engine form at transportSA but thats all ya have to do, regency dont have to see it. Rego is the same they still see it as a 4cyl 1.6litre N/A engine.
Let me know if you wanna come round and have a look. Mob 0423 096 869

Just to back up regency dont need to inspect the car if you only changing engine numbers.
ie 4A-c -> 4A-g
2/3t - 2/3t-g
18R-c -> 18R-g
i did this when swapping from 18Rc to 18Rgeu and no worries. I even told them the motor was EFI now and ran on unleaded. took about 30seconds at the rego office.
looks tidy mate, good luck with the sale
