Hey,
Just wondering whats involved in converting a celica st184 auto box to a manual? what gearbox would i need?
can it be done?
how much would this cost with and without labour?
i apologize for my noobness hehe but any help would be appreciated.

you can use any st184 celica box, you could probably use a sv21 camry box as well. you will need a flywheel and clutch and all the necessary hydrolic piping including slave cylinder, you may have to change your wiring harness or get your one rejigged so that the thermo fans work and u can start the car, you may even have to change your ECU. the pedals are a bitch to put in and you will have to drill a hole in the firewall to allow for your master cylinder. there is also the gear selector and cables to go to the box. cost a shit load in labour and parts wont be cheap. best option is to sell and buy a manual in my opinion.
