ok i have recon injectors just put it. Have spark on all plugs. have pulse at all injectors but only running on 4 cyc. I was wondering if it was sequential injection and the plugs could be on in wrong order or not. Any ideas will be appreciated

Have you done a compression test? Do you suspect blown head gasket at all? (i mean it is a 7mge )...
I thought that the 7mge batch fired the injectors? Two batches of 3 injectors each (not sequential...)? That might be wrong, I haven't looked into it specifically...
Cheers

If you've blown the gasket between two bores, then it'll run like it's lost a piston. Compression test (or leak-down test) ASAP. Failing that, check that your ignition side of things is wired and working correctly (eg. coils, igniter, etc).
Check out the TRSM for pointers; http://www.cygnusx1.net/supra/library/TSRM/index.h tml

You say you don't have a BHG, but have you done a compression test? lol
Firing order is written on most dizzy caps?
otherwise as a guess from memory its 1,5,3,6,2,4?
Cheers

7MGE runs 3 banks of 2 injectors.
Find out which injectors/plugs are firing correctly.
Pull spark plug leads off one at a time to see which ones dont make a difference.
Then check the corresponding injectors and see if they are firing.
(put a globe across the wires, globe will light up when it fires.)

If you havent changed the plugs lately, Change them all.
Same goes with leads, dizzy cap, and rotor button.

Is very wierd.
I'd be making sure all the plugs are correctly gapped then.
Also, do you know which cyl's are running rough yet?

problem has been solved.... there was one dud plug and a weak spark on others. cleaned rottar button and dizzy cap connections. Started car... was smoother. Took it for drive and planted out of corner. Spluttered and backfire and then went to normal idle and smooth as new. I figure must have had muck somewhere. Runs a lot better now. They are only cheap plugs in it at moment.
Will buy platnum ones or iridium ones, new leads and new dizzy cap after xmas and then see if it smooths up more. (thats if it can)
Thanks for help guys

Injectors are all in right position.
Wondering if it could be vacumn hoses in wrong positions etc
Starting to really frustrate me. Is not huge missfire just enough to notice. Fires on all 6 and then 1 or more cyl have bad detonation and then fine again

Found a little thing causing a huge problem. Wire running off dizzy when u wiggle it causes the engine to splutter and stall
Going to rewire all wires running from dizzy and AFM and see what happens.
Tempted to by a MSD
