When you got your diff centre set up with the LSD, did you just give the TA22 centre and LSD to them and they set it up? Will the TA22 centre bolt straight into the T18 housing no problems?

Im thinking of doing the same thing as I already have T18 diff and a Cusco 2 way LSD arriving soon.

any t series centre and carrier will bolt into another.
some times the splines might be different. ie. zenki and kouki centres

remove a 4.1:1 t series from a old celica(theres a few)
bring it into a diff shop and give them that and your brand new lsd. theyll swap it over and set the free play and shit

skaney: as discribed, thats exactally what i did. got a TA22 celica open diff 4.11 ratio from Cool1 on this forum in brisbane. got my brand new TRD two way, bought a bearing kit from CBC to suit and took all three items to a diff rebuilded who rebuilt the TA22 center with new beaqrings, fitted the LSD and set the lash.

it cost me 280 including bearings to do that. not too bad i thought.

Garth: yes it is a POS. respray coming very soon
