My Clutch feels weird Sat, 25 December 2004 01:14 Go to next message
just today i notice that my clutch pedal feel extremely weird. For few minutes, it feels normal driving the car...the next few minutes...the clutch pedal felt short..and its really short..(means i release the clutch by abit, the car moves)...and later feels normal again. (normal as in the clutch pedal gotta be release longer for the car to move)

what's the problem guys?

Oh great... better go check my ute of leaks and shit then...

Of late the clutch hasn't disengaged properly (Sorta crunching 1st on engaging, and locking a bit on shifts) I have double clutched a bit to get it to shift as well...

The pedal is fairly short now too... But I thought it was short from riding the clutch...

if its not disengaging properly, and mechanicals are good...

check

- no fluid .. top up and bleed
- air lock .. bleed sys
- leak .. new hose / seals
- worn / broken seals .. new seals / recond cylinder

i had the last possible thing which i thought wasnt
able to happen, no leaks and it still wouldnt disengage
wtf! wierd, well pinned it down to one of the seals in the master wasnt sending the fluid down but the other
seal was ok so it didnt leak but didnt work.

all goddam started with a simple $15 dollar seal kit
and 2 hrs work... no! she'll b right mate from the guys
and drive to ipswich, pick up these hot chicks, get stuck in valley, f^&king went delirious (very) after staying up for 44 hrs and took out the gearbox lol, thats only the start but...
