You must be on serious drugs pauly, but if your not drinking to hard at a party tonight we can drop in an engine and box instead

HEHEHE garth the engine has tonnes of crazy bits, mostly made to suit locally, to keep costs down as much as possible, but still should be pretty crazy all the same

ok just cause garth hassles me all the time for engine pics, heres a few just as its all about to be slotted into the car today.....

this is the modified oil setup, includind all extra guage senders and lines for the cooler:-

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/3717/engine0011bg.th.jpg

this is the larger capacity and baffled sump:-

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/8111/engine0022vx.th.jpg

and the largish oil cooler:-

ok some more.......

this is where the old belt water pump USED to be, now eliminated as im using a davies craig pump and controller:-

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/3821/engine0044xw.th.jpg

and the hand made adjustable cam gears(way cheaper than any you can buy!):-

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/658/engine0056sz.th.jpg

and this is an overview of the whole thing(excuse the dirty old cam covers, the good ones are still having adaptors welded on for breather lines and then to be painted:-

http://img3.exs.cx/img3/9991/engine0061dq.th.jpg

hope you like it guys...

You coming down to Mallala soon? Can't wait to see it in action, the car certainly has changed from being a budget drifter to the most quality AE86 drifter in oz (at the moment anyway)

Should be a reliable engine setup.

I'll give you some cash if you make up some of those cam gears for me? Smile

yeh dude, was a hassle to get nuts to fit though, ended up having to use the nissan ones on them, and more pics on the way later today, the engine bay is almost complete, so i'll put a few pics up with the whole lot nicely in place this afternoon or tonight. gotta see, its lookin fukn insane, cant wait to drive it now, all thats left to do is wire up the EMS and crank the bugger over! either today or tomorrow it gets fired up!
