does anyone have any info on the best way for a thermo fan conversion to a 1j cressida.

just wire it up to the thermo switch that runs the smaller fans, im sure theres a thermo switch on the 1J somewhere for the fans, should be pretty straight foward if you use the factorypickup points from the relay

1j have no fan switches
some 1j's have a hydraulic fan settup but this is conrolled by another ecu

just fit a thermo switch somewhere then fit the biggest signel fan u can fit

say like a 14in or 16 in

one big fan is usually better than 2 small ones

Can you weld? If so, make up a bracket and mount two of the biggest baddest fans you can possibly fit in there....I made up a bracket and bolted my ma61 radiator and 13+14" fans into my ma70...and they work perfect...

im also doing this for my ma61, it has a 4 core chev radiator in it, with a 16 and a 14" fan...and they are pretty damn hardcore...

check out the thread on http://www.thermactor.com/forum There is a bit of discussion about different thermo fan setups people have used on Cressidas. Do a search on that forum. Smile
