Hi, does any one know if i can get a Weber Carby kit for my engine. Its the 1.4l version of the 4AFC. And where can i get one.

sorry about the carby kit, i dont know...try sprints, or autobarn?

Thanks for the reply. I may ask the carby specialist store here and see what they say, if not, i'll search some more.

haha, yeh, Darwin is populated with Corollas that still have the 6AF.

WOULD be so interesting in modding the 6AF to go as quick as the 4AGZE, LOLS Laughing but then again, i might be dreaming, well if i get it done, i will sure to tell it to the world. Very Happy

my guess is, they are the same as the 4afc's carby, but just jetted different? if so i guess thats the gasket side of things solved ( assuming u cant find a 6afc kit )?!?

Hi, thanks for that. I have checked my local carby shop and they can install a 32/36 kit for my engine for about $500. This includes installation and tuning. Does this seem expensive or not? I think its alright considering that i am in Darwin. But would think that down south would be cheaper. Well im saving up for that now and see how it goes.

Thanks. What do other people think abt this mod? And for those that do have weber kits does the kit sound heaps better (oh yeah im gettin a straight through 2" exhaust too) and how much roughly of a power increase did you get from the upgrade. Thanks in advance.
