icon10.gif  buying a 4AGE and installation? Thu, 30 December 2004 00:54 Go to next message
Hey guys!

I was looking to buy a 4AGE engine and put it in my 86, but i was wondering ways of doing this? Since i know jack about engines, i doubt i can loom the engine myself.

Anyways, generally i'm wondering if anyone knows where to buy a 4AGE for a good price (86 - 100kw), and get it installed? (If anyone in thier backyard can do it?)

Know a rough price i'm looking at?

Thanks heaps,

and have a happy new year!!! Smile

Hmm, 4ages are about 500 bux bare.

but complete with aciliries etc. etc. will be about 1k.
drive in drive out really depends on the quality.
Most decent workshops will charge u 3k.

Botom line, you get what you pay for (i.e. power, reliability, etc. etc)

if you could do the work yourself, it woudl definitely be the cheapest, + you can be thorough. Otherwise, fork out big for someone to do it for you.
