Boost controller into a 1ggte Sun, 02 January 2005 01:18 Go to next message
I have done a bit of a search but cant find what I'm after.
I'm putting a EBC into my chaser, the problem i have is i cant find where the actuators lines go to i can see that they go to some form of rail but that is it i cant see if it connects to cooler piping or not, i have found there is a line off the cooler piping but not sure where that goes and what it is for so any help would be much appreciated.

Cheers
Chris

The standard setup on a 1G has on each turbo a 1-2 inch piece of tube from the actuator to the compressor housing.

For a boost controller, remove these bits of tubing and block off the compressor housing side. Hook up the actuators to a T piece and then to your boost controller. Get a pressure feed from your inlet manifold.

have fun.....

I have had a look and since i will be putting a new turbo on soon i have decided just to wait i dont think i have the patients to get to the back turbo, once the blitz turbo is in with the external gate it will be much easier.
