Wheel compatibility? Thu, 06 January 2005 23:58 Go to next message
Hi,
I just need some expert advice.
I currently have an ae82 hatchback and I would like give her a face lift, so I'm considering purchasing her a new set of boots.
So at the moment she is got the stock 13" wheels and I'm interested
in a set of 205/60/R15 4 X 114.3 which came of a 90' model silvia.
Just wondering will these wheels fit on to my ae82?

If not, can you please tell me which wheel arrangement will be better suited to my ae82?

cheers

those wheels will be a bit of a tight fit on an ae86, for that width of tyre the offset will mean it will sit very close to the strut. im assuming the ofset is +20something if it is off a silvia. but yeah correct me if im wrong.

umm btw do you have an ae86.. ae82 or both>?

because ae82 are 4x100pcd so the rims will not fit.. at all
unless you weld them to the hub, which by the way was a joke. please dont try it.

where did you get the idea he has an ae86? he says twice in his post that he owns an ae82...

as said,an ae82 runs a 4/100 PCD. S13 silvias runs 4/114.3mm PCD,so the rims will not even come close to bolting on.
the offset would be similar though.

the tyres are too tall as well. you'd want a 205/50/R15 for your corolla.

if you're browsing silvia forums for wheels, try for something that's multistud,as it's likely that both of the above PCD's will be the ones drilled into the wheel.
