Soda water when it is still wet and use a sponge to mop it all up.

or when wet, liberally cover with kitchen salt until the salt stops being disolved - allow to dry and then vacuum (warning: will ruin bagless cleaners). will leave some stain behind in which case you shift furniture or purchase h/d foaming carpet cleaner from woolies.

If it is a wool carpet, then pretty well yes.
They told us this after we got our light coloured wool carpet

you could also try some dry cleaning fluid - or hire a steam cleaner? but once you hit it with a significant amount of heat, you will set the red colour into the wool.
unless the stain is in the middle of the room or in a doorway, you've knoW identified where the TV or stereo now goes.

1. Let you iron warm up on the hottest setting.
2. Place iron over stain.
3. The wine stain will be transformed into smoke and dissapear like magic.
4. Remove iron and turn off being careful not to burn yourself in the process.
This process does have its side effects an may very well stuff your iron. To finish off simply stratigically place a rug over any residue that is left.
Thankyou and please come again.

isnt there like 5 billion stain removers that
will do the job? i mean like you could rub salt
in it, then push on some bubblegum mixed with
peanut butter, quickly tip white wine on it and
also do a crap next to it. now its a real stain!
or you could go get a "wonder remover 1000 uses"
and spend 5 minutes rubbing the stain away.
lol i think the guys in the stain technology lab
have done a crap everyday next to a stain for 3
weeks and realised that it just wasnt working...
get yourself some stain remover, its good gear.
