a soarer just like mine or an ma61 supra Smile.. will fly
though only the engine and gearbox are useful for that

Corona Mk2 coupe. Weighs in at 1240kg.

Or maybe a MX30 Cressida coupe - you'd have to import one from NZ.

Are you sure dude?
The MZ12 was just an MZ10 with 6MGE.
Maybe some extra electrics too, but not 300kg worth.

as far as im aware, the struts are different and everything too.. as well as the diff(though im not at all sure on this)
I know all the center console is different.. and all the trim.

As for how i said struts and all, when i 1st got my soarer and knew nothing about cars i put it in to get it repaired, there was an mz12 at the local workshop and they said they checked those but they werent compatiable.. so had to go and find another *z10.
I may be completely wrong, but i dont know.
All i know is, my stock gz10 was 117* kg and phyro on these forums weighed his stock mz12 and it came to 147* kg i beleive

There could be a lot of drivetrain difference between a 1GEU GZ10 and a 6MGE MZ12, but I highly doubt its 300kg worth.

100-150 at max.

760/940/960 series Volvo, and yes, I'm deadly serious. Would be nice in a 2xx Volvo too, but I think it'd be too long. It'd be lovely in a 164 also (they originally had a 3litre inline 6), but I think with their double wishbone suspension there wouldn't be enough width in the engine bay for a modern twincam turbo monster

Alternatively, how about an old-ish Mercedes saloon? That'd really piss off the purists when you turned up with it to a MB owners club meeting. MB owners, as demonstrated at an all-German car day in Canberra a few months back, are a pack of arrogant snobby fucksticks. I'd do it (given funds) just to see their reaction. Would be a lovely highway cruising car, too.

Definitely put it in one of these.

I have a 1977 MX31 Corona MK2. It has M-EU 2 litre EFI, power steer, air con, electric windows, electric mirrors, 2 door pillarless, 4 wheel disc brake and IRS.

if you guys want a comical car to put a an unbridled monster into, try a kombi.
No shit, it would be funny as hell to nail all the wannabe boy racers in a kombi van Smile

I know of a guy who has a subaru engine in a kombi and would blitz all the pulsar driivers etc., and put them to shame. Smile
Plus kombis can be very cheap restorers projects, and theres LOTS of room to put whatever you like into them..

RT104 corona they have massive gear box tunnels and heaps of engine bay room. Also i think there heavy enough for this type of mod.

Excellent drive train !!

Yep i agree with the RT104 Corona. I used to have one and you hardly see any of these around any more.

Or for balistic performance how about a clubman, i am sure you could keep it under 800kg.....now that would be a real weapon Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad Evil or Very Mad

Otherwise if you want a bit of room how about a 88 Cressida wagon, saw a few of them in fiji not that long ago...fully sick !

Should put it in MR2drift's new tow car. The only thing this car is missing is the sound of a monster turbo spooling up
