dyna100 engine swap

the dyna has a 3y thats fucked in the head.
what should i put in it.
its a 88 model and im sick of fixing head gaskets so what else will fit.auto shops ive been to all sugest holden v6 but i want to keep it toyota.

there is plenty of options for them, as the engine compartment is reletively large. i've seen holden V6's and turbo diesel toyotas etc.
if holden V6's fit, then there i wouldnt think that some of the toyota V6's ( like out of prado's and later hiluxs ) couldnt fit. . . . there was one for sale on here too.

The 4y from the tarago would be an easy swap, its injected and you get an extra 200cc

how about a 2B motor or something out of another dyna? 3.0L diesel 4CYL that hauls ass - they have serious torque issues

what about a 1ggze if they bolt into hilux that had 3y shouldn't it bolt into the Dyna using the same mods.this thing is more like a Ute than a truck it only weighs 1300kgs so i don't want a diesel.

what do people do for linkages in these situations? as the dyna linkages are rather extensive
