What's the game and what Operating System are you running (Windows 2000, Windows XP etc.) ?

I think 200 is a memory error. Either you don't have enough RAM but I doubt it if you've got a newer version of windows or you've got too many applications open when you're running it that's eating up your RAM and/or you have a lack of hard drive space free which is also adding to the RAM problem.
Try starting up in MS-DOS mode.
Also try googling "[game name] dos 200 error"
eg. GTA dos 200 error
Again, tell us what game and what OS you're running.
