Hey guys, I'm just clearing what I have left of my AE86 stuff. As you can see in the pics I have a set of rims 14x6.5 inch which came off my AE86 and will fit celicas etc, price $300 ono.
I also have 2 sets of stockies which must go, I'm open to offers around $40 a set, best if I can sell them altogether, I can work out a price. - SOLD -

At the risk of being a granny - there's nothing people dislike more than a bunch off prospective buyers asking "how much to freight to such and such a place?". The seller works it out for 4 different people, and if he/she is lucky, one of them buys the item(s).
Its not hard for the buyer to do this.
1) work out the weight
2) work out the physical dimensions
3) ring a courier and ask how much.
simple as that! and it saves the poor guy selling a lot of hassles. Otherwise the local buyers will usually always win out over freighted sales because of convenience...

Yes but different freight companys quote different prices, especially depending on who the customer is.
I send freight interstate all day at work, its my job, so I have an idea of how much freight will cost.
But the price I would get quoted and the price someone will make me pay for them to ship are 2 totally different figures.

I agree totally Skaney. More often that not part of my job involves the same thing. I suppose the moral is shop around with quotes - people might be suprised of the difference in pricing between freight agencies, rather than relying on a price someone else gives.
Apologies for hijacking the thread, just thought it was worth bringing up.
