Hey,
Looking for a shop around the Brisbane area.
Need to get rust cut out from my TA22, plates welded over, and the car painted in acrylic.
Anyone know of any cheaper places that do a decent job?

Why acrylic if you're getting it professionally done?

Sorry, no. I meant if you are getting it done professionally why are you opting for acrylic over 2pac?
I was just wondering out of interest!

Acrylic is shit for cars, paint will 100% start to crack and fade after 2yrs, 2-pak is a softer paint, has alot more flex/give.
True that acrylic is much cheaper then 2-pak but its harder to get a quality finish.
Having said that, i only paid $350 for 4ltrs of 2-pack primer and High Osicity(i think thats its name) white and tint.
Cheap i know but it isnt really expensive at normal price.
Cheers
Steve
