Geez, just saw on page 16 of today's telegraph...
This Friday 21st, to 26th Wednesday, double demerits will be in effect...
dayum... 
So take care peeps, be very very careful...
And have a safe Australia day...
Mind as well ask what you's are up too..
Well, i'll start, heading off to jamberoo... but i don't want to drive now, can't hack speed limit all the way to jamberoo...

thanks guys for posting this thread as I was driving through northern New South Wales today. I don't know if I'd be affected by it having a Queensland licence and all but I don't wan't too take the chance. So thank anyways
oh and you guys have 24hr Speed Cameras???? thats horrible
Seen a sign on the Pacific Highway saying about it near Tweed Heads. heading towards Kingscliff

Just remember that before those cammeras you'll see 3 large signs saying that there is one coming up and the speed limit on the side...
VERY important if you see one... SLOW DOWN
So just chill out this double demerit session...
Let someone else drive  hehehe

Those red light speed camera's in the ACT are worse than any permanent speed camera!
They go against the grain of my logic of safety...
i.e. if the light goes orange but you don't think you can stop in time speed up to make sure you're through before the light changes.
I hate those things!
