there is a company in america that was allowed to make 500 more replicas

but they will have new engine numbers and will be registered on the mustange gt 500 resgister or wot ever u call it as genuine cars

cant remember the details but they start with a normal mustange fast back and strip it back totally and redo everything
modern suspention, motor, paint, interior, and sound system

so its like buying a new car and the cool thing is that mustang is badging them as genuine mustang gt 500 or wot ever they r

they cost about $100,000 US dollars tho

Good ol' discovery channel...
they just get rustbucket mustangs and strip them down and build them back up to GT500 spec, they got permission from Carroll Shelby to stick his name on it... goes into the register, everything olihaub said, but they cost a pretty penny! "Go Baby Go" Very Happy

some fellas got one with 800 BHP!!!

Funny thing is just 2 days ago down here in Melb, i seen a GT500 replica which not only shared the same colour scheme as the movie version, but also had the number plates ALANOR.
As you can imagine i was rather greenish looking after that

Cheers Adam
