Lsst winning bidder @ ~$2900 but would not pay
needs work on clutch, rego, no spare tyre or jack etc, a/c us, no maintenance history available.
I am interested, at the right price. Anyone else had a look at this ???

Johny,
I had a look at the above mentioned MR2 as well. It seems to be a clean one but don't really know what kind of problems or accidents it might have. Just need to work out what needs to be repair and replaced.
Like you said, I will be interested too if it is at the right price.
BTW how did you manage to find out it has no jack, no spare tire, clutch need repair...etc?

On E Bay you can ask the seller questions via the auction page. Wondered if anyone has seen the car in resl life and checked it out for rust, exhaust ........ etc

minor damage front d/s gaurd and bumper.. bumper damage at bottom and plenty scuff marks.
large scratch down d/s door
another scratch over one of the gaurds.
cant remember the rest.
would make for good project car but for rego,paint repair,mechanical repair etc i think you could do better even if it sold for 2k
my 2c.

Thanks for that.. I'll send a list of queries to the seller and hopefully I'll be able to get some feed back on the car.
I think 14 people has bidded for the car.. so far it is sitting at $2,250.00

How did you find out about the car? have you actually seen it or you've spoken to the seller?
with above mentioned damages, how much you reckon it would cost to put it back on the road?

mate. The seller sent me some pictures of the mr2 the last time it was listed on ebay.
I can email them to you if you like or just contact the seller direct.
As for cost I have no idea but i fthe outside of the car is trashed who knows what the rest is like.

I haven't exactly see the car or talk to the owner yet.. but I thought that I would get all your opinions on the car first before I approach it. Dont want to excit the owner and let him down. If you know what I mean?
