Hey Tofu, No annoyance at all. The W series boxes have different over drives dependant on which model you have, they range if my memory is corect from a 0.75 to a 0.95 I am not 100% on that, but they will be close.
What is an overdirve, ok well in a standard gearbox most of them anyway have a 1 to 1 4th gear, this means that the input speed is the same as the output speed. So if the engine is doing 3500rpm so is the tailshaft. An overdrive gear is taller and does just that overdrives the gear box, so if the engine is doing say 3500rpm the tailshaft is doing (and I am guessing) 3900rpm, so the speed is greater but the revs are the same.An overdrive is for freeway driving to save fuel.
hope this helps
