E58 LSD Gearbox into AW11 Supercharged MR2

Hello,
I am just wondering is anybody has put an E58 LSD Gearbox into a supercharged AW11. I am thinking of this idea because the second gear synchro is bad on all SC MR2's Ive seen, and I read that it was improved in later models + I want to get an LSD.
I have a feeling that the drive shafts are different between AW11's E51 gearbox and the AE101's E58, but don't really know for sure.
I do know that the gear shifter cables swap sides, but then maybe it would be possible to swap the guts into the MR2's gearbox case?
Any advice / info much appreciated.

it would be probably easier and less hassle free in the long run to just buy the new double synchros used in the e58 and gt4 gearboxes and install them in a LSD e51 from the supercharged MR2, i will be doing this when my synchros are totally screwed... they are only like 60-80 dollars a synchro.

The syncros may only cost you 60-80 bucks each but to get them put in and the box rebuilt is about a grand. Thats bearings and syncros. Im getting my e51 rebuilt at the moment cause mine was crunching in 3rd.

1000 bucks aint that bad if you are replacing all the synchros as they about 450 bucks alone then u have to add bearings and labour.
I just bought a second hand one for $550
