Hey guys,
I have recently bought a 7MGE engine and auto gearbox,
for a conversion into my hilux. As I will not be using
the auto, I was trying to get rid of it and hopefully
get a few more dollars for the conversion.
Gearbox and motor was driven less than 1 month ago and was
ok. My mate is not using the gearbox, cause he got a chaser halfcut with all the goodies.
Looking for around $250 ono
Call me on 0403 043 244 or PM me back on here.
Cheers,
Bart

No offence mate but they are worth very little.eg when I recently brought a second 1j,the shop wanted to charge me extra to remove the auto. The engine was cheaper with the box than without! You may get $100 if you can find a local buyer to deliver to. Cheers.Pete.

Dingaling,
Mate I just checked with my courier and it will cost
$326.13 to freight it to Hobart. So I cannot meet
your $250 offer. However, now that the box is going
for around $150, maybe you can organise something?
SleeperMX83,
I would use the auto, but I really want
and like the manual offroad. Plus when I get dual
transfer cases, it is easier with the hilux manual.
I'll wait till I kill the lux-box, then I'll probably
go for an R151/154 type manual from a 4-Runner with a
twin gear-drive transfer case conversion.
Cheers,
Bart

All Good mate,
All my conversion bits are now paid for except for
a clutch kit and an ECU if anyones got one for a 7M-GE.
Also I need another harness aparently because my mate
needed the ECU and one of the plugs from the harness also.
I will start another thread for these bits now.
Thanks again guys, I'm one step closer to a 7M-Lux.
Cheers,
Bart
