When ever I brake I get a clunk noise from the R/H front, I have checked the caliper and pads for movement and seems to be ok. Anyone have any idea's?

Ball joints & rack end are ok, might have to jack it up and check all the suspension bolts. Thought i'd better ask as it might of been a common problem.
More suggestions welcome. Ill let you know what I find when I fix it.

hey,
i had a problem with my front left of my car with a bad metal on metal noise when braking hard or hitting bumps. I had mechanic check it and he tightened everything and regreased the front end. Noise gone and it is better than ever to drive. Hope that helps

I had a similar thing on my RA40, turned out the caliper had kicked off one of the anti-rattle shims. I didn't notice it at first untill I really looked at them, that's when I noticed it was missing... Might pay to check?
Cheers

I have a similar problem with my GA61 atm... I suspect it's something to do with the strut or the hub, maybe the bolt that holds the bearing in place (and the hub) has undone itself a bit? Needless to say, I must fix it asap

I checked and then double checked everything and could not find anything wrong. I removed the pads and smeared a little bit of graphite grease between the pad and caliper, seems to stopped the noise...
