From auto to manual on a TA22??

How hard is it to do the conversion? Has anyone done this before? Do i have to change the gearbox brackets? thanks..( all the pedals are already fitted and so is the MC and clutch lines)

The gearbox crossmember is different between the auto and manual, however you can modify it to work. Tail shaft is also different.

I've never seen a 4 speed but that doesnt mean there isnt.

Hi,
Yes, there were 4speed TA22 gearboxes, but these were on the low end models that were never exported to Australia.
